Web Packaging Solutions
Thirty years of manufacturing scale, made legible to a B2B buyer, plus the creative that carries the sustainability story to a wider audience.
What the site needed to do
WPS manufactures flexible and hybrid packaging films and converted products, aluminium foil, BOPP, BOPET, BOPA, CPA and CPP films among them, out of Houston, with facilities and offices across the US, China, India and Korea. More than thirty years in the category, and none of it was visible on arrival.
A technical buyer had no fast path from a product category to a spec sheet or a quote, the fifty-plus product catalogue had no clear architecture to search it by, and the site was not built to capture the category searches already happening without it.
Prove scale at a glance, get a specifier to the right document in the fewest possible clicks, and give the catalogue somewhere for search demand to land.
What we built
Scale Led Positioning
Led the homepage with WPS’s actual proof points: three decades in the category, manufacturing across four countries, and the full range of materials, stated plainly rather than implied.
Specifier First Flow
Structured the catalogue the way a technical buyer shops it: by product category first (film, foil, converted products, food service), with a data sheet and a quote request never more than one click away.
Unified Taxonomy
Organised Solutions, Products and Resources into one clear information architecture, so a fifty-plus item catalogue stays effortless to navigate and search as it continues to expand.
The result
Carrying the story further
Three social concepts extended the sustainability argument beyond the site: an emotional introduction to compostables, a proof point on durability, and a stat blunt enough to force a decision.
Concept 01 · Awareness
Handcrafted by Nature, Meant to Return
A compostable plate held up against its own natural origin. Brand-awareness, leading with feeling rather than a spec.
Concept 02 · Product Proof
From Nature, Back to Nature
Plate, cutlery and cup styled together to make one argument: strong enough to use, gentle enough to return to the ground after.
Concept 03 · Stat Impact
Plastic Takes 400 Years to Decompose
Plastic against compostable, four hundred years against one hundred and eighty days. The stat was the whole post.
